Whole Brain Thinking Workshops

Whole Brain Thinking is all about valuing difference

Intro Workshop – With Profiling

Target Audience: Teams ranging in size from 2 to 20
Duration: 2.5 -3 hours depending on your needs
Location: At your venue
Cost: $3,000 plus GST for workshops, $183 per person plus GST for profile, report and materials (Excludes accommodation and travel outside Melbourne metro)

In this session, Clare introduces you to Whole Brain theory, and it’s origins in neuroscientific research. You will learn:

  • That there are 4 different ‘types’ of thinking, or cognition
  • We all do them all, but we don’t PREFER them equally. Therefore we tend to use one or two thinking styles more frequently than others.
  • As a result, it is sometimes like we’re speaking in different languages – we simply aren’t able to influence colleagues effectively, because they prefer a different thinking style to us.

After introducing you to the 4 thinking styles, Clare gets you to self-assess which styles you prefer before providing you with your profile results. She then explores the implications of your preferences on you as individuals, and in particular explores what happens when you are ‘under pressure’; does your thinking style change, and if so, how? The final part of the workshop is tailored to suit your time slot and needs, but can include a range of topics including:

  • Consolidation game: a fun, competitive way to reinforce the learnings
  • Implications on the team – what are your strengths? where are your risk areas?
